Hiii everybody!

So I nearly forgot about this place but I got on to update yesterday and I gave it some thought. Gryphon Webzine is going to go on a hiatus for a while. Not because I didn't like it or anything but just because it needs some time to develop a little more. I'd like to focus on my webcomic and my book for now so I hope everyone is willing to give it a break and wait a while until it comes back as something new and pretty (when I have more time to pay attention to it).

So since I received a FEW things, I'm giving people some time to send in some writing or whatever (my fault for responding to them late, I'm sorry!) and then a DA Newsletter will go up featuring their submissions and other art around DA that goes with the ironic theme of reincarnation which, in fact, probably won't happen for this zine in the short run. I also will be featuring some art around DA that may relate to theme, kind of how DA does their featuring but to spotlight fantasy artists on DA and writers as well. So if anyone can think of an artist or a piece that should be highlighted and featured, please tell me!

Thirdly, the forum is going down. I loved the forum and I appreciate everything everyone drew, wrote and talked about. But I think we can all agree it was a little too dead and otherwise empty. So if you had anything on there you need to reclaim or save please do it. Because I'll be taking it down in the next couple days. The website is going to go down too. I never updated it that much anyway.

So, this isn't goodbye for Gryphon, but it a temporary good luck and confident pat on the back. At least for me. I was really proud of it, I just wish I'd had the time I wanted to promote it the right way and to get the attention it deserved.

I won't let the confidence in fantasy die though! Ohh nooo. And neither should you. Says me.
